Get an insight into bees and beekeeping with our popular taster day at RHS Garden Harlow Carr in association with the Harrogate and Ripon Beekeeping Association. You will have a chance to visit the new apiary and enjoy an ‘up-close-and-personal’ encounter with bees.

Warning: Due to close proximity with Bees, please do not attend this workshop with a known allergy to Bees.

Additional info

Please wear:
  • Loose-fitting trousers (not shorts or jeans)
  • Wellington boots or stout walking shoes/boots that are waterproof/washable
Please bring:
  • Washing up gloves or similar (not black)
  • Protective jackets and gloves are provided for the apiary visit
