Join 4-times RHS Gold medal winner Bridget for this two-day workshop, which will concentrate on understanding the nature of the paints available to watercolourists. This course will concentrate on how to select and combine the best pigments to accurately portray different plant material, as well as including analytical drawing and composition techniques.

Tutor: Bridget Gillespie

Additional info

We will be working in watercolour. Please bring your own selection, but a list will be provided and contains non-fading pigments useful in plant depiction which often needs colours not found in standard sets. ‘Artist’s Colours’ are usually better quality and try to avoid ready-made greens as we will learn to mix our own.
