Home Education Workshops for Learners aged 5–16 years

Bring your home-school family to RHS Harlow Carr for a discovery workshop. Held in the Bramwell Learning Centre and outdoors, these workshops are designed for home-educating families, with curriculum-adjacent sessions for each key stage.

Families can book activities that fit their own home learning. Each workshop gives young people the opportunity to learn practically, outdoors and to experience plants and the garden first-hand.

Ages 3–5 years, 10am – 11.30am

These workshop activities are designed for the specified age group; however, we understand that, on occasion, it may be necessary to bring a child outside this age range, and you must book a place for them.

Booking is essential, as numbers are limited. You must book for every person in your family group. Each booking is for one learner with an accompanying adult (up to two per family). Accompanying adults are responsible for their children at all times.

Please note: Garden admission is included in the workshop booking, and you are welcome to explore the garden before or after your session. We allow a maximum of two adults per family to attend the workshop.
