Visit Harlow Carr Library and admire the two latest seasonal embroideries on display. Created for us by the talented Richmond & Leyburn Creative Stitchers, the scenes show the Main Borders in high summer and Autumn’s stunning colours. To create these beautifully embroidered scenes, we took two photographs of the garden and cut them into 48 squares. Each embroiderer then interpreted them in their own way. The finished pieces were then put together like a jigsaw to re-create the two whole pictures in embroidery form.
