Join us to discover the story of Elizabeth Blackwell and her remarkable herbal, the first major herbal to be written and illustrated by a British woman. Created between 1737 and 1739, it reveals the fascinating plants and remedies used in 18th-century medicine. Drawing on the unique collections of RHS Libraries, this talk explores botanical history through rare books, art, and archives.
