Harlow Carr Library Talk and Garden Walk: The Oak Tree

---

Join us for a combined Library Talk and Garden Walk on the oak tree in celebration of National Tree Week. Explore the history and legend of oaks in the UK through time. After the talk, our woodland team will lead a guided walk around the garden to see the beautiful oaks at RHS Garden Harlow Carr.

A library staff member will lead the talk, and an RHS arborist will lead the garden walk.

Order of events
11am – Please arrive at the library in the Bramall Learning Centre for the twenty-minute talk
11.30am – The guided walk will begin around the garden and last approximately an hour

Please note some parts of the terrain will be steep and uneven at times. Please wear suitable footwear.

The talk will draw upon the unique and beautiful collections of RHS Libraries to explore this history. The RHS Libraries hold world-renowned collections of rare and modern books, botanical art, photography and archives.
