A chance to learn more about the wonderful world of trees! Join us at RHS Hyde Hall for a glorious seasonal walk, and the opportunity to explore not only the cultivated trees within the garden, but also our brilliant native species accross the wider estate. Spend some time in the classroom honing your ID skills so the next time you head out into the country side, you'll be all the more in the know!

Tutors: RHS Lizzie Holt and RHS Elliot Wagstaff

Arrival Information:

  • The meeting point for this session is at front of house, in the Welcome Building. Please arrive in good time to register your arrival.

For this workshop:
  • The workshop is based on a walk-and-talk format; therefore, we advise dressing appropriately for the weather.
  • We encourage bringing a notebook and pen to take notes.
  • There will be tea/coffee available whilst in the classroom. Additionally, all the taps in the learning centre provide drinking water, so we suggest the use of a reusable water bottle throughout the session.
  • You are welcome to stay in the gardens afterwards should you wish to stop for lunch and a wander round.
