Tutor - Andi Rickard (UK Ladies Scything Champion) Andi has held her UK scything title for eight years running and enjoys teaching others the graceful art of scything. The skill has been making a comeback in recent years, partly helped by a scene in the television version of Poldark, and is a more environmentally friendly way to cut grass and wildflower meadows. You will learn about the history and use of the scythe, how to use and maintain an Austrian scythe and select the right model for the job, all in one of our wildflower meadows. Scythes and associated tools and accessories will also be available to buy from Andi.
