    Apple Pruning

Come and unravel the mysteries of apple pruning at this practical demonstration. We will be looking at the formative pruning of young apple trees through to established trees that have been maintained. We will also discuss summer pruning, and see how it is used to maintain our trained apples, (i.e. cordons, espaliers and fans), and compare it to the winter pruning of our traditional orchard, which is what we will be concentrating on during this demonstration. This event will take place outside so please come prepared with boots and warm clothing.
