This botanical watercolour workshop will look at painting the vivid midsummer colours found in plants growing in the Hot Garden at RHS Garden Rosemoor at this time of year. Time will be taken to understand the use of colour in watercolour painting and how to achieve 3D form on paper while retaining a sense of the correct colour of the chosen plant. There will be demonstrations and discussion of techniques and approach throughout the course. It will be useful to have some prior drawing and watercolour experience.
