The Coastal Edge - where the sea meets the land

An exhibition of new work by three Devon artists working in very different media - textiles, photography and paintings. The collection has been inspired by the British shoreline.

Jenny Bone (textiles), Kevin McDonagh (photography) and Douglas Anderson (paintings and printmaking) have created a fresh body of work for this exhibition, building upon years observing the shorelines of Devon and Cornwall and making detailed studies of the unique south west landscape.

The Coastal Edge - where the sea meets the land includes beautifully crafted felt and stitch textile landscapes created by Jenny Bone, atmospheric monochrome and colour photographic seascapes by Kevin McDonagh and a totally new collection of screen prints, lithographs and mixed media paintings inspired by rugged, eroded shorelines by Douglas Anderson.

Days when artists will be in residence at the Gallery:
Douglas Anderson: Tuesday 2 Sept (10.30 - 2.30) and Wednesday 10 Sept (10.30 - 3pm)
Kevin McDonagh and Douglas Anderson: Sunday 7 (10am - 3pm).
