Inspired by the timeless beauty of roses during the lead-up to RHS Rosemoor’s Festival of Roses, this specialist workshop invites you to create a decorative mosaic mirror for outdoor display. Professional mosaic artist Adela Webb will guide participants to learn how to use hand tools to cut glass tiles and shape them into rose motifs. These will be carefully arranged onto a circular mirror base measuring 23cm in diameter. A thoughtfully selected range of coloured glass mosaic tiles will be provided, enabling colour choices.
Suitable for beginners as well as those with previous creative experience, the workshop focuses on craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and an appreciation of materials. By the end of the session, each participant will have completed a mosaic mirror that reflects both the garden's character and the enduring appeal of the rose.
Please note that there may not be time to grout the mirrors during the workshop, but there will be a demonstration on how to complete this step, and grout and instructions will be provided to take home if needed.

She regularly exhibits with South West Mosaic Artists and sells her mosaic work and kits worldwide.
