Are you keen to do the right thing in your garden but not sure what to do when? Then, Seasonal Gardening – Winter is the course for you!
This series of seasonal standalone workshops will increase your knowledge of the gardening activities that need to be carried out in each season to ensure your plants grow healthily and you can keep on top of gardening tasks.
Geraldine King, one of the Garden Managers at RHS Rosemoor, will take you on a seasonal whistle-stop tour of techniques, tips, tricks and advice about what tasks to do in spring. You will be shown a number of practical demonstrations during this guided garden walk.
Winter topics include – mulching, preparing for the year ahead, early winter pruning of shrubs and pruning, plus other tasks of seasonal interest.
Tutor: Geraldine King, Garden Manager in the Formal Gardens at RHS Rosemoor
Location and arrival information: The tutor will meet you on the Visitor Centre terrace and the workshop will take place entirely outside in the garden. Please allow 15 minutes to park in the main visitor car park, enter the garden assemble on the Visitor Centre terrace.

For this workshop you will need:
- Your booking reference number to show to the team at the Garden Entrance.
- A notebook and pencil to make notes.
- Clothing and footwear suitable for being outdoors, appropriate to weather on the day.
