    Working with acrylic ink

In 2024 we are trialing some half-day sessions to encourage people to try out new crafts and skills.

Acrylic inks are a tremendously exciting, versatile medium. This course will explore wet on wet, layering acrylics inks, dip pen and drawing pen techniques to create a range of painting styles. The aim of the course is to expand knowledge and confidence and create a beautiful ink painting.

Sally Rich will be exhibiting in the Peter Buckley Learning Centre from 13 July to 18 August 2024. Her exhibition is titled: "Petals and Pigment: A Botanical Art Showcase".

Sally's work is floral, vibrant and fun, and also distinctively recognisable. She runs workshops in own studio and at Southwest Art Sidmouth as well as being a college tutor.

Please bring with you:
  • Your booking reference number
  • A notebook and pencil to make notes
  • Camera (or mobile phone for photos)
Your finished piece of art may be wet when you come to take it home, so please plan ahead for this. It will be possible to leave work in the Learning Centre until later in the day if this is helpful.

All materials provided. Tea/coffee and biscuits included.

Tutor: Sally Rich
