How can your creative practice inspire positive environmental change?
Join the Art and Energy Collective at RHS Garden Rosemoor for an inspiring, participatory workshop bringing creatives together to explore how art and creativity can respond to the climate and ecological challenges we face.
As part of Moss Matters, we'll journey through mossy forests and peaty landscapes, share experiences, ask questions and explore practical, positive ways to make change through our creative work – however small.
Through conversation, creative activities and time outdoors, you'll have opportunities to:
- Explore how nature, mosses and peatlands can inspire new ways of thinking and making.
- Discover ways to bring more sustainable approaches into your creative practice.
- Connect with a growing network of creative practitioners across North Devon and the South West.
- Feel inspired by the power of creativity to imagine and shape a greener future.
Who is it for?
All creative disciplines are welcome, including visual arts, craft, design, theatre, dance, music, writing, film, performance, heritage, museums, libraries and cultural development. You don't need previous experience of environmental art – just curiosity and a willingness to explore ideas together.
Places: Limited to 40 participants
Please bring a packed lunch, outdoor clothing and all-weather footwear. The workshop includes an optional short garden walk on level paths suitable for wheelchair users. You're welcome to explore the gardens further after the session.
