Come along to RHS Garden Rosemoor as The Very Hungry Caterpillar descends on the garden for the summer holidays (20 July – 1 September 2019).

Join in the fun with garden trails, craft workshops and family entertainment,  as we celebrate 50 years since the publication of this much-loved children's classic.


The Very Hungry CaterpillarTM garden trail

20 July – 1 September daily
10am – 6pm

A chance for families to explore the garden in all its summer glory, enjoy creative play and follow The Very Hungry Caterpillar as he chomps his way around Rosemoor.
Free with normal garden admission.


The World of Eric Carle exhibition

20 July – 1 September daily
10am – 6pm, outdoor display

Sunnyside Up – Family ukulele workshops

Local Produce Show
11.30am – 4pm, in the Garden Room.

Enjoy displays of delicious fruit and vegetables and homemade crafts. Enter your own produce in a range of catergories for children and adults.

Falconry display – North Devon Falconry Centre
Flying displays at 11.30am and 2.30pm.

Marvel at the speed and hunting skills of magnificent birds of prey. Find out how the study of our feathered friends has influenced flight and space exploration.

Outdoor theatre
