Visit the lake to see our pumpkin 'boats', including one made from our award-winning giant pumpkin, grown from the world's most expensive pumpkin seed. Right, horticulturist Matthew Oliver puts a pumpkin boat through its paces!

Little Acorns Pre-School Gardening Club
First Wednesday of each month*

The club encourages children to engage with the natural world. All activities are 'planty', 'arty' or 'crafty'. The club runs from 10.30am until noon. *Little Acorns does not run during school holiday periods.

Please note: Little Acorns will be relocating to a smaller premises for the 7 December, 1 February and 1 March sessions as part of redevelopment works. As a result, the number of places will be reduced to 30 per session and will be pre-bookable by phone: 020 3176 5830, Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm (£2 per child, plus normal garden admission.

Festive Woodland Walk
27 December

Walk off your Christmas excess and join us at 11am on 27 December for a guided tour of the Woodland Walk and then beat the chill with a warming mug of hot chocolate.
