When it’s cold outside there’s nothing better than a comforting plate of piping hot food. Come and warm up with a two-course lunch for just £10.95 per person. Offer valid noon - 2pm.

Language of Flowers Exhibition
11 January–7 February

The story of the Language of Flowers is explored in a new display. A series of exhibition boards trace the rise and fall of this 19th century craze for giving meanings to flowers - which is currently undergoing a revival.

Wasp headHalf term fun - The Secret Life of Insects
15–19 February

Join us for fun, insect themed art and craft activities. Workshops are bookable on arrival and cost £2 per child. On Wednesday, build a bug hotel (£5 booking essential) and on Friday there’s face painting at £3.

ScarecrowFamily Scarecrow Making Weekend 20–21 February

Armed with old clothing and a bit of creativity, come and make a scarecrow to decorate Hyde Hall’s fields. Large scarecrow kit £8 and £6 for a small kit. Booking essential on 020 3176 5830. Sessions at 10.15am, 11.45am, 1.15pm.


Little Acorns Pre-School Gardening Club
First Wednesday of each month*

The club encourages children to engage with the natural world. All activities are 'planty', 'arty' or 'crafty'. The club runs from 10:30am until mid-day. 

*Little Acorns does not run during school holiday periods.
