Hyde Hall Garden Volunteer, RHS Garden Hyde Hall, Chelmsford, Essex

RHS Garden Hyde Hall currently has a number of exciting volunteering opportunities for enthusiastic people to help with core gardening activities. As a garden volunteer, you will assist with ‘day-to-day’ garden maintenance work, primarily weeding and edging in one of the most glorious gardens in the country.

Bridgewater one-off Thursday Garden Volunteer (clearance tasks), RHS Garden Bridgewater, Worsley New Hall, Off Leigh Road, Worsley, M28 2LJ

We’re looking for volunteers who would like to come and help for a one-off volunteering opportunity. These volunteering days take place on Thursdays. During the next stage of the garden development, the work will include cutting back and burning overgrown plants, ground clearance, and soil preparation for planting.

Wisley 'Slugs Count' volunteer, RHS Garden Wisley, Woking, Surrey

The RHS and Newcastle University are carrying out a one-year study of slugs in gardens and we're looking for a volunteer who will be based at RHS Garden Wisley to assist with the day-to-day running of the experiment, particularly in the receiving of slugs through the post and processing them for further scientific work.

We are currently looking for a Library Welcome Desk Volunteer to join the team in the RHS Lindley Library. As a volunteer, you'll greet visitors, take enquiries and assist staff to ensure visitors have an informative and enjoyable experience of using the library.

Britain in Bloom Judges & It's Your Neighbourhood Assessors, UK wide

The RHS currently has exciting volunteering opportunities for enthusiastic people to become a judge or assessor for Britain in Bloom and support the nationwide gardening competition. Opportunities are available across the UK (excluding in Thames and Chilterns) for volunteers to join Britain in Bloom Regions and Nations to judge Britain in Bloom entries and/or assess It’s Your Neighbourhood locations.
