A slowly spreading, mat-forming, evergreen perennial to about 10cm high, with small, ovate to oblong, sometimes toothed, hairy, mid-green to grey-green leaves with creamy-white variegated margins. Varieties come in a range of mauves and pinks and purples, and flowers are four-petalled and produced in short spikes from mid-spring to early summer

Cultivation
