A medium-large, very late, bittersweet, vintage, cider apple with high tannin and high sugar, capable of making a balanced, single-cultivar cider. Fruit has a very dark, purple-red flush over green skin, and is ready to harvest in late autumn. Requires a group 3, 4 or 5 pollinator
