Grow under glass planting bulbs in autumn or spring with the tips above the surface of a peat-free, loam-based compost. In frost-free areas, plant outdoors in early spring in a moderately fertile, well drained soil. See nerine cultivation for further information
Propagate by division after flowering or by bulb chipping. Propagation by seed is possible with some nerines, but may be difficult as the seeds are very fleshy, don't store well and plants grown from seed can take up to 7 years to flower. See bulb propagation for further advice
No pruning required
May be susceptible to slugs
Generally disease-free
