Valeria Valkova A medium-sized, semi-terrestrial, clump-forming orchid, with narrowly elliptic leaves. The leaves are dark, mottled with pale green, up to 15cm long and 3-5cm wide. Solitary flowers, 8-10cm across, appear from the centre of the leaf rosette and are carried on 25cm long, upright stems. Flowers are waxy, lasting several week. The pouch (modification of the lip) is dark purplish-brown. Dorsal sepal is white with green and dark purple stripes. Two petals are narrow, with dark stripes and few protruding dark spots.
