Deciduous, large tree with mid-green, ovate leaves, softly hairy on the underside, reaching over 20m in height. Flowers are very similar to 'Lanarth', abundant, cup shaped, magenta pink to violet and up to 25cm across, with 12-14 tepals, usually flowering in early spring before the leaves emerge

How to Grow

Cultivation

Propagate by softwood cuttings from late spring to early summer or semi-ripe cuttings from late summer to autumn
