An evergreen to semi-evergreen species from the Sierra Madre Oriental mountains in Mexico, this is a small shrub growing to 1m tall and wide with arching branches of dark green foliage and sweetly scented, white flowers with prominent golden-yellow stamen appearing in early summer

Cultivation
