Petunia Surfinia Giant Purple ('Sunlapur'PBR) (Surfinia Series)

petunia [Surfinia Giant Purple]

A vigorous, fully trailing and floriferous tender perennial usually grown as seasonal bedding or a patio plant. It has oval shaped, sticky and hairy light- to mid-green leaves and produces large, velvety, gramophone-trumpet-shaped, magenta-pink flowers with some dark purple veining right in their centres, that are 8.5cm across. It blooms from early summer into autumn. It trails or mounds and spreads around 30 cm to 40 cm so is ideal for hanging baskets and containers and as ground cover in sunny, warm, well-drained spots.
