Sedum x rubrotinctum is a low-growing, evergreen, succulent perennial to 20cm tall with small yellow flowers borne in summer. Cylindrical, banana-shaped leaves up to 2cm long are arranged in spirals around the sprawling stems and are glossy green with red tips which may turn a deeper bronze colour in summer

How to Grow

Cultivation

Under glass, grow in peat-free, loam-based compost with added perlite, positioning plants in bright, filtered light. Water freely in the growing season and apply a half-strength liquid fertiliser monthly; water sparingly in winter. Potted plants can be moved onto the patio in summer.
