A superb main crop showbench variety producing round to oval, smooth beets with intense red flesh. It is a vigorous grower and performs well in most soil types, showing particularly good tolerance of dry weather. Harvest between June and October

How to Grow

Cultivation

Grow in fertile, well drained soil in full sun. Sow direct between March and July into drills 2.5cm deep and lighly rake over with soil. Thin out seedlings to 10cm spacings. See vegetable cultivation
