A late-season, cooking apple with large, pale green to yellow fruit, striped with red, and white, hard, very sour flesh which keeps its shape when cooked. A moderately vigorous tree, producing a good crop. It requires a pollinator from group 2, 3 or 4 but, being a triploid, is unable to act as a pollinator for other cultivars. Fruit is ready to pick in mid-autumn and may keep until early spring
