A compact, vigorous, evergreen perennial with dark green, oval-shaped, toothed leaves. Very fragrant, creamy, lemon-yellow flowers with a small orange eye appear from April through to September. An untidy habit makes it better suited to borders where it can scramble amongst other plants, rather than in pots and containers
