A low-growing, evergreen shrub with dull, dark green leaves. These have a powdery appearance on new growth and felted yellowish grey underside when young, becoming brownish orange on maturity with a wavy margin. In mid spring domed trusses of broadly funnel-shaped, wavy-edged, light greenish yellow flowers are produced.
