A reasonably compact pumpkin cultivar, producing stems to 60cm (24in) high and 1.8m (6ft) across. Dark orange-skinned fruits are produced from late summer into autumn which are approximately 20cm (8in) in diameter and have very sweet tasting flesh, making them eminently suitable for using in pies, muffins and for stuffing and baking. The bright yellow flowers are attractive to pollinating insects and can also be picked and used in cooking.
