A winter squash, producing cylindrical fruits with a bulbous end furthest from the stalk. These are produced on trailing vines in excess of 1.8m (6ft) long. The smooth, pale orange, hard-skinned fruits, 12.5cm (5in) in diameter and 27.5cm (11in) in length, can be ready to harvest from late summer into autumn. They store well once ripe and have sweet, bright orange flesh with a nutty taste. They can reach around 2.3kg (approximately 5lbs) in weight.
