Shrubs
A large, upright shrub to about 2.5m with corky ridges along the stems. Foliage is oval, pointed, mid-green, briefly turning pale yellow and pink in autumn. Small, green flowers in spring are followed by copious, dark red, spherical fruit, splitting to reveal orange seeds
