Clump-forming tuberous perennial, to 45cm tall, with narrow green leaves, and from summer to autumn, funnel-shaped, mauve-pink flowers appear, the outer petals distinctly bi-lobed, the inner petals displaying a pale yellow zone marked with dark purplish-brown streaks
