A deciduous small tree or large bush with mid green oval leaves. Rich burgundy pink, goblet shaped flowers with a paler interior on opening. Flowers can be damaged by late frosts so plant in a sheltered position, in neutral to slightly acid, moist but well-drained soil

Cultivation
