A clump-forming herbaceous perennial, to around 90cm high, with deeply divided, slightly glossy green leaves with wavy edges. Large, reddish pink double flowers, with broad outer petals surrounding a mass of ruffled inner petals, are produced in late spring and early summer. Inner petals are sometimes accented with yellow pollen at the edges

Cultivation
