A low-growing perennial forming neat, compact mounds of small, green, toothed lance-shaped foliage. Masses of outward facing, pure white, single flowers have 5 petals, giving them a star-like shape. These appear on short stalks just above the foliage, providing a long flowering display in summer. An easy to grow plant but dislikes wet winters
