An early-flowering deciduous perennial climber with dark green leaves. Large, rounded semi-double to double pale violet mauve flowers appear in late spring to early summer with a second flush of smaller flowers in late summer to early autumn which tend to be paler in colour, almost off-white

How to Grow

Cultivation

Plant in a moisture-retentive, well-drained soil, with the roots and base of the plant kept cool and shaded by other plants or a layer of pebbles at the base.
