A deciduous shrub to 1.2m high with broadly oval, serrated dark green leaves. Dome-shaped clusters of distinctive, bi-coloured flowers are produced from early summer to early autumn. Flower colour varies depending on the pH of the soil, from soft red to rose to purple, but always with a clear white border around the petals

Cultivation
