Shrubs Trees
An evergreen shrub or small tree ranging from 1.5–5m tall, with slender, yellow-grey branches when young and small, bright red new foliage which turns papery and leathery dark green. Lightly fragrant, solitary white or pale purplish-red flowers, with 5-7 petals, appear in the axils of the leaves from February to March. Green fruits ripen to purple-red from September to October
