A compact deciduous shrub to 1m high, with an open habit, dark reddish stems and narrowly ovate, serrated dark green leaves that turn red in autumn. In summer, produces rounded heads of densely packed white flowers, with lightly feathered edges to the petals. Flowers develop a tint of pink or red as they age

Cultivation
