A very compact, hardy, deciduous shrub to around 100cm in height, forming a neat mound of narrow, lance-shaped silvery grey-green leaves. Spikes of vibrant, fragrant, purple-red flowers appear from June through to October. A perfect choice for pots and containers, or for smaller garden borders, where it won't encroach on other plants

Cultivation
