A compact, deciduous climber to 1.5m tall with dark green foliage and flowering from late spring into early autumn. The flowers are medium to large reaching up to 12cm in diameter and a dusky pink colour, slightly darker at the margins of the tepals, and with a reddish-purple centre

How to Grow

Cultivation

Plant in a moisture-retentive, well-drained soil, with the roots and base of the plant kept cool and shaded by other plants or a layer of pebbles at the base. Plant with the crown 5-8cm deep to encourage new shoots to grow from below ground level. See clematis cultivation
