Allium sativum var. sativum 'Picardy Wight'

A softneck garlic from northern France that grows well in cool, damp conditions that may prove a challenge for other varieties. This strongly flavoured garlic stores well for several months. Garlic can be either softneck which produce bulbs with small tightly packed cloves, seldom flower and store well or hardneck which have strongly flavoured cloves, often produce flower stalks, but only store until mid-winter
