An upright, small, deciduous shrubby tree about 2m in height, a sister seedling of 'Sunglow'. Shallow, 7-9 lobed leaves to 13cm long emerge in spring in shades of apricot which slowly change to light green in summer then bright yellow to orange in autumn. Pendent clusters of wine-red and white early spring flowers are followed by brown winged fruits in late summer
