A compact, bushy shrub to about 1.2m in height and spread, with elliptic, slightly serrated, dark green leaves. Long-lasting, rounded, mophead flowers are produced from early summer. Each floret has a frilly, deep pink edge shading through lighter pink to greenish white in the centre, the whole flower turning green in autumn
