An erect, clump-forming herbaceous perennial with finely divided silvery-green foliage and bristly stems with pendent buds that open up to large saucer-shaped burgundy-pink flowers with dark blotches at the base of the petals in summer. Very floriferous, will re-bloom again later in the season if cut back after flowering
