A semi-trailing and mounding, floriferous, tender perennial usually grown as seasonal bedding or a patio container plant. It has oval shaped, sticky and hairy mid-green leaves and produces abundant, very striking, gramophone-trumpet-shaped, purple flowers with dark purple centres, paler purple-mauve towards the edge of the petals with deep purple veing too.
