A semi-trailing and mounding, floriferous, tender perennial usually grown as seasonal bedding or a patio container plant. It has oval shaped, sticky and hairy mid-green leaves and produces abundant, very striking, gramophone-trumpet-shaped, purple flowers with dark purple centres, paler purple-mauve towards the edge of the petals with deep purple veing too. The 'Ovation' series varieties are early flowering and quite compact in habit, so perfect for large pots and containers Flowers from late spring to autumn.
