A vigorous, upright, deciduous shrub with bright green ovate leaves on dark red stems. Can reach up to 2m if left unpruned. This cultivar is early flowering, with cone-shaped clusters of flowers produced from early to late summer. Flowers open creamy white and develop tints of pale pink and then deep pink as the season progresses

How to Grow

Cultivation

Grow in any moist but well-drained soil in partial shade or grow in sun if soil remains reliably moist. Improve chalky soils with organic matter to support good growth. See shrubby hydrangea cultivation for further advice. This plant was included in the RHS Hydrangea (paniculata) trial 2021-2025

Propagation

Propagate by softwood cuttings in early summer, or by hardwood cuttings in winter. As this plant is protected by Plant Breeders' Rights, any propagation should be for personal rather than commercial use
