A bulbous perennial, to around 1m high, with upright stems and lance-shaped, glossy dark green leaves. Large, fragrant, double pink flowers, with paler centres, dark pink speckles and ruffled edges, are produced in mid to late summer. Double oriental lilies such as this have extra petals rather than anthers, so are pollen-free
